I've been playing Guild Wars 2 for many years, and it took me a long time to will a character to level 80. I have a level 80 Scrapper and now I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be doing. Depending on your setup, you want to ideally focus on traits that talk about strike dmg for stuff like berserker/assassin gear or condition dmg for viper. Check the trait lines. Ascended trinkets are most easily obtained from the laurel vendors, but they only have 3-stat combinations, not the newer 4-stat ones from expansions.
